Merry Xmas and happy boxing day

Merry Xmas bloggies ^^. It's my seventh day on my "going south trip" so far. I haven't had enough time and resources just to access internet since I took off from Sydney. Here's some updates of places I went so far, I haven't really process the raw pictures from my camera, so mostly here's just the glimpse of pictures I took with iPhone.

Day 1, 21.12.11. I spent it in Christchurch. A little disappointed after witnessing it with myself that half of the city is barricaded with fences and about to be demolished due to previous major earthquake that brought down this city. But I managed taking some shots anyway. Stayed in Canterbury House Backpackers with Japanese hosts Keiko. Shared my room with two girls one from Slovakia the other one from Slovenia. Somehow I cant remember their names tho, I think it was Mariette and Julia.

Day 2, 22.12.11. I rendezvous with Y the night before, she's been here for four days by now. And we decided to drive to Arthur Pass, Hokitika, then ended up in Franz Joseph.

forgot where it was, but before arthur's pass

the walk to lake mattheson, my best weather so far of the journey
Franz Joseph Glacier, I climbed
Day 3, 23.12.11. We took the first batch of half day ice trekking on Franz Joseph Glacier. Oh noted, the guide name Ben Murphy has a hot body and with mole on his face same spot as Enrique Iglesias (LOL). Somehow, there're a few rock fall during the glacier trekking that I had to make a few stops to avoid it. We then move to Lake Matheson and do the trekking around the lake to capture the glimpse of glacier. On the way back Seb message me to see if I were OK only to realise that Christchurch has been rocked by another two major earthquake. Lucky we left already. but what worries me is that I will be flying to north island from there and wondering if my accommodation still stand after the tremor.

Day 4, 24.12.11. We enroute to Queenstown. We made heaps and heaps more stops along the way because the scene is just getting pretty, prettier and prettier. Have I say pretty oredi? We ended up having a serious talk while having dinner over the sunset of Queenstown Lake. It's a pretty view. After four days, Y noted to me that she has been accepted me for who I am long time ago but now she has a much better understanding of where I coming from.

Day 5, 25.12.11. Merry Xmas everyone…. ^^. We started our day very early, and took Gondola up to the hill of the Queenstown. Y ride a paragliding while I just sit enjoying the view with my cup of coffee. We rode Luge up at the hill and then ride gondola downtown to get the car and drove to Glenorchy. After so many pretty beautiful sceneries, my expectation is too high and a bit disappointed with Glenorcy view. I enjoy the drive there tho the weather begins to get gloomy.

Day 7, 27.12.11. I split with Y and just lazying around the lake, have a nice brunch, writing postcards to close friends.

breakup line decoder

SO, you've just got dumped? Ever confused when you're trying to translate what is s/he trying to say during break up?, does "It's not you, it's me" line sounds familiar to you? No, you did not over analyse things and yeah, the other party will make things sounds so nice and yet confusing. These lines are mostly just a lie and some are insincere excuses to justify that the other party is doing the right thing for the good of both of you, but reality is for the good of him/herself. SELFISH.... I read this book by Jason Logan "If we ever break up, this is my book" and found one page where he decode the meaning of his/her break up line. The following decoder are partly taken from Jason's book and most of them are my own and my friend's experiences.

DECODER

THE PHRASE ITS MEANING
I don't feel that we are meant to be This means as it is, the most honest you could possibly get
It's not you OH, IT IS YOU ALRIGHT ...!
I just need some time to figure things out the first thing to figure out is how to get out without hurting your feelings
I've always wanted to check out Europe on my own And I bought a one way ticket
I really value our friendship Our sex life is OVER...!
How do you feel about open relationships? Because you are in one right now
You can see someone else, I don't mind s/he feel less guilty if you did, because s/he cheated on you already
I will miss the thought of you You are replaceable, s/he will do the things you did together with someone new
It's the distance, made my feeling dwindle s/he met someone else long before the breakup
I wonder, where is this relationship going because you are a back up by now
I think our relationship is nearing a breaking point Your relationship has an expiry date and it was expired long time ago
I think you will make someone very happy Good luck to you ...!
I am not good enough for you, you deserve someone better Oh you're not good enough for me OK...
I will probably never meet anyone like you again s/he met someone better
I'm just not sure I want to do this anymore... s/he is bored of you
I'm making changes in my life that don't include you. I'm sorry s/he included someone else
You can keep the cat I will be keeping everything else
Do you remember who bought this CD? Otherwise, I'm completely packed

What was his/her break up line? care to share?
